CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - PORTLAND 88, BELFAST
Construction is going well, despite the difficult working condition in the last three months due to snow and general bad weather. Below is a brief report on what has been recently installed and what is coming over the next couple of months.
-All floor structures are now complete, including the steel construction for the seventh floor and roof is just being added at this time to make the building watertight.
-Windows have been installed on the ground, first, second and third floors. All windows have now been delivered to site and we anticipate they will all be completed over the next three months.
-Internal metal frame work has been completed to the ground and first floors and works are starting on the second and third floors and anticipated to finish by end of July. Plaster board erection is underway on the ground, first and second floors along with electrical and plumbing first fix.
-External finishes are progressing as per programme. The render is due to start this month and the rain screen cladding is due to start at the beginning of June.
-All masonry to ground and first floor are now complete.
